Guanella LX on longbox w/tailgate closed?

Hi all,

Has anyone been able to keep their tailgate (and close it) on their 8’ long box with a Guanella LX? I picked up my truck/Guanella combo used with the tailgate already off but it looks like it would be close...

I have an Everest which is 8.5’ long.
I have a hose at the back end protruding that may influence wether you can close your tailgate.
Just give Matt and company a call to be sure. When we went to get ours we were reminded to leave our tailgate at home..

CanadianViking, I have a Guanella and have to remove the tailgate on my RAM 2500 long box.
