Saw this on the local CL and had to share.

This house was built by a hippie couple they payed 250 for the white logging truck and using mostly recycled materials they built this . They lived in it on the streets of san Fransisco for some time . It is in a book called rolling homes and on the Internet under Alice's custom built house truck . It has two beds two sinks a shower a fridge a toilet it had a pot belly stove and a cooking stove and a spinnet piano . It needs work on the outside n a roof but the inside is great .

There is a truck similar to that sitting in a yard in Denio, NV. Not in as good a shape, but about the same age chassis.

I was through there in Sept but must have missed. I get a kick out of these creations. One of my friends from my early years built one on an old Studebaker.

"Rolling Homes" is the book that inspired me to build my "hippy Shack!"
