Trip to Hovenweep, which is partly in Utah and partly in Colorado. Just north of four corners. Very disparate, can be a good distance between buildings and sites. Some require a decent amount of hiking. Some pavement, many BLM dirt roads that are not bad in good weather. High clearance is useful on some of the side roads.

Once again, worth the time. 800-1000 year old buildings. Rather easy access but remote.
 
Yes, KTN, there are some fun hikes to some interesting old buildings at Hovenweep and a nice little campground as well.

Enjoyed the photos and thanks for posting them. Hovenweep makes a good three-day escape for me - thanks for reminding me about how cool a place it is. They even allow leashed dogs on the trails. Definitely time for me to go back.
