Also consider putting the spare tire in front. That will both unload the rear and load the front.

Yes, from time to time we are putting the Eagle Model on the trucks like your that have the really short bed.

It is not common, but we have done it.

The more weight you can keep over the rear axel or in front of it, the better.

But that said, if I had your same truck and really wanted a camper, I would go with the Eagle Model and deal with the rear suspension upgrade.

The Falcon model is just too small in my opnion.
