Hey All,
I am new here, almost went with an ATC but ended up ordering a KIMBO. It looks like there will be a fitment issue, the rail height of the the Kimbo is 19.5". Our 2021 F150 with a 3/8in rubber mat is about 21inches. How do you all recommend addressing this. I have seem some folks just place it on a wooden pallet. Thoughts?
Thank you

A lot of members use 2x4 to make a frame under the camper.
You can also design it with some storage.
I think is you Google search camper bed platforms you might find results from this site.

I use stock mats. They are 4X8 sheets about 2" thick. They are a bit heavy for an 81 year old to load and unload but they work great! It takes three with my 2013 Tundra and a Hallmark Milner.

Our Chucara XL was ever so close to fitting, so I've got two sheets of pressure treated plywood under it. I think one is 1/2" thick and the other is 3/4" thick.

I’d suggest a 3/4" thick sheet of marine grade plywood, underneath a 1” thick rubber matt. I think stall matts are about 1" thick. The rubber matts make good vibration dampers.

A rubber bed mat should come with every camper regardless of any spacing considerations.
