I lost my mind today...

Howdy Mr. 3Pin,

Sure, an update is in order. I guess the best way to put this is I never should have listen (and given in) to The Boss of Me. I wanted to buy a F150, The Boss of Me insisted that it was too "big", and we don't need two "big" trucks. That said, the Ranger is a nice, nice truck. Other than it not being big enough, I have a few whines, but nothing really bad.

The good: It's comfortable, handles well, has good performance, get's good milage, quiet riding and I like the modern features.

The not quite as good: Yup, too small, I do not like the 5' bed. The lower dash controls for the heat/AC are in an awkward spot, and hard to find when driving, in particular driving at night. I end up going to the LCD display and changing things there. The brakes seem spongy, especially when just starting out on a damp/cold day. With the softer suspension, the nose tends to dive when you get on the brakes early into a drive.

Would I buy another? Maybe, but I would probably go to the F150. Either of them would be great, the F150, just a lot roomier and with a larger towing capacity.
