If you only had... This thread could go in so many directions, but lets start with, if you only had one place you could camp at, where would it be?

I'm torn between the magic of Moab, UT and the Silverton, CO area. But I also have not been to a lot of places.

I bought a camper from Stan....I'm not all that sure he is kidding.

If it is the first full week of August there is only one place to be....Sturgis.
It will make you appreciate peace and quiet and flush toilets the rest of the year.

:)

It is all work and not much play right now for me.

I have done the motor home trip and stayed at a KOA, not my style.

If i'm taking time to get out and camp, I prefer to do my own thing usually.

Getting away from people and checking out new places is good for me.

I tend to go to the cooler areas when it gets hot here in the valley in the summer.

Just got a new to me truck (05' Tundra Access Cab, 4x4) ... so now the wheels are turning to see what my next camper will be ... the truck just doesn't look right without a camper in the back ...

:)

When I can escape, I'm usually heading to the beach and coastal towns here in Nor Cal

Something about the cool, fresh air.

(My answer would depend on what time of year it is, but)

This time of year the high mountains of Montana start calling my name. I feel lucky as I am headed that way in about a month.

KOA in West Sacramento ?

I have (had to) stay in a few KOA's, back in my Subaru days. As my traveling partner once said "KOA's are best arrived at after dark.''

KOA in West Sacramento ?

Awwww, camping at its finest. Does it get any better. Wait....What!

Took me a while, but I knew that if I looked long enough I'd find the LocosMocos steeker at Alfonsia's.Baja!

As for me, a few of my more memorable recent spots:
Somewhere in NV:

It's NV, but it looks to me like it could be somewhere in Africa:
