It works really great for us. We have tons of interior space to move about and for stowage. Plenty of room for two people to move around in the galley without getting in each others way.
Our bed has a 28" wide slider the same width as the bench. So the extra cushions serve a dual purpose.
Bed with full extension is king size. Room for two adults and two (small) kids. In a pinch we can sleep five (four in the bed and one the bench) and still keep the floor space open. Also four people can sit comfortably on the bench. We use a two foot scissor leg folding table that we picked up at Costco for an inside dinning table, though we haven't had to use it yet.
The only real compromise to life support comfort is the furnace. Living on the Central Coast of California it's not likely to see a lot of use, but the wife and I plan on doing some winter camping in the future. Hoping to get to Yosemite this coming January/February.
