I find it more irritating that the over seas market is knocking out much nicer caravan/camper type stuff (appliances, power dist, etc.) that is hard/expensive to get over here.

It's expensive in Europe as well.

Right but if some state side manufacturers picked up on a few things we might see better costing and at least not have to import/ship them in.

i find it sadly interesting that the majority of US designers are not brave enough to incorporate some of the out-of-the-box ideas that apparently are taken for granted overseas.

Not overseas, but in Canada, so we can actually get these: Livin Lite

We saw one of the small travel trailers in DV and looked them up. They make a number of pruducts using aluminum framing.

Wow yeah they are doing some great stuff! Looks like they are based in Indiana.

French to English translation, (to the best of my ability).

"The Azelea … 4x4 Elite

The Azalea All Terrain, (LaBabouche) The Turkish Slipper, Two elite concepts to travel the world.

The passions of travel and adventure led the team Azali Psi (?) to develop a habitat concept for 4x4 pickup trucks, ensuring an exceptional level of maneuverability, comfort and safety.

Construction of the camper and integration with the vehicle ensures the full realization of your 4x4 advantages. The Azelea Terrain is a tough integrated shelter on a pickup for off the beaten track.

The practical La BaBouch Any Way (?) with you on the roads and byways of your travel, plus it frees up your everyday vehicle."

Does any of this sound familiar?
