Puppy pictures are irresistible. Our golden is getting on in years and we have been discussing whether another dog is in our future. All I need to do is look at pictures like this and I'm a goner.

I'm a dog guy for certain. Salty, our adult wirehair is nine now, but still active, but it's time to start bringing up another pup.

I just saw a photo of Fritz's sire, taken after getting third in the GWHPA (Wirehair Assoc) national trials last month. This is Idawire J Edgar ('Hoover') with Tom Quesnel, the breeder. Fritz is going to be a big boy, probably a good 10 lbs heavier than Salty (my avatar), and a handsome lad at that.
