Late Summer in the Eastern Sierra

I was so inspired by this trip report as well as Facebook memories from last year we decide dto do a quick 5 day jaunt up the 395 to Bridgeport and back, hitting a lot of the high altitude lakes along the way. The fall colors were so awesome, much better than last year. It was also cool watching all the people boarding everything up for the winter. One guy was even blowing his hose to get the water out.

Thanks, photos are never as good as being there. Funny thing is that Mary Austin house and historic plaque in the video stated she used to let travelers stay there and share stories that only people that have been to the Sierras would understand
