My wife drove a 2017 GX460 up until this past year when she decided she wanted a truck.
These are great vehicles and most are used as grocery getters and soccer mom SUV's.
That being said, the GX has the most capable 4x4 system on the market. That is why they make such awesome overland vehicles. All you need to do is put a 3 inch lift on them and some good all terrain off road tires and you have a heck of an overland vehicle.
