little plastic strips

My forward lift panel locking board, for lack of a better term, is rubbing occasionally on the center wood strip on my roof. I noticed my 2015 camper has black plastic strips to protect it in certain spots. I was
hoping to source one to prevent further damage to the wood strip. I figure I can make one, but was hoping someone may have a suggestion.

On a more positive note, just got back from a week in Linville Gorge area of NC! tried to upload photos, but size is an issue...

I am sure you could contact FWC and they could send you some. I have bought several extra pieces of trim from them.
