Lock problem with Ocelot (locked out)

This morning my wife and I were camping in the Chiricahuas. We pulled into the national monument to get ready for a hike. She headed to the bathrooms and I went to get stuff out of the camper. The deadbolt lock failed. The key turned left and right, full 180 degrees of movement but it did not catch and move the bolt. We were locked out which ended the trip. Later I tried lock again and now the key just spins complete circles.

Any recommendations for how to get into the camper?

The clip on the end of the shift must have come off. Never dealt with this but a locksmith should be able to drill it out or? Might get a new replacement lock when done. Let us know how you got it open.
