If I had a grease fire on the stove or a propane odour coming from the camper, I would much rather shut off the propane tank than watch my camper and truck burn to the ground.
I often keep my keys inside the camper (so I can't lock myself out of my truck
)
Of course nobody wants to be a hero, but it's pretty difficult to sit there and watch your rig burn to the ground when you could do something about it. I saw that happen to a farmer in the middle of his field. It took all his will power, to hold himself back and watch his truck burn up in front of him.
