My dogs (border collies) stay in the truck or camper. don't normally bark much. But i can't say never. its if a problem for you, I could camp down the road from you. I take them almost everywhere I go. Never had a problem.slash2 said:That week looks good for me, still depending on my work flow, but it's penciled into the calendar. I also have a copy of the guide book.
I have to ask though, are your ride alongs excitable? As in do they bark a lot? Barking dogs in the quiet solitude of a backcountry camp could be a deal killer for me. Well behaved dogs are a joy and a pleasure to have around, but some dogs, like some people, just can't keep quiet
Then again, if it became an issue I could always set up camp a mile down the road...
I'm always up to meeting up with others. My plan is to be on the west end , probably on Monday Feb. 24th. Around Afton Canyon, weather permitting.dscobell said:5outta6,
I was planning to do some dispersed camping near the Preserve even if this trip didn't happen. Are you interested in meeting up when you are there?
