I've moved several threads/topics over to this new electrical sub forum. If there is a topic/thread that you would like to see moved to the new electrical sub forum, please post a link to it here and I or another member of the site team will get it done. Thanks.

Please move this one:
https://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/topic/18659-building-a-portable-power-box-last-updates/

This one as well, or move to hiking, biking, floating, (boating) fishing, or both ... it does have a lot to do with electrical, solar & Batteries ...
https://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/topic/20074-revisit-diy-power-box-finally-realizes-it’s-special-purpose/

This one as well, though may already be dated ...

Could we have a sub sub forum where there is no mention of volts, amps, syn wave and string theory. Instead just ...connect that gray wire to victron device xx and plug solar panel to that thing over there.

Just kidding sorta.

Could something be done to make it so when you click on the arrow next to your post that means it's been moved, you get the little message box?

I didn't know for days why my post had zero views and no replies, and when I tried clicking on the arrow, nothing happened. I finally noticed at the top of the page that I was in a different forum, and then discovered that if you hover on the arrow but don't click, you get the little message.

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but it didn't seem obvious what was going on.

Thanks!

Corey, if a topic is moved, the arrow just says it is moved. But, you can still click on the topic in the original location and go right to it.

Understood, but what stumped me is that if you hover over the arrow for a second (?) or so you get the topic moved message but if you click on it immediately, it never shows the message, even if you continue to hover.

I tried clicking a bunch of times but apparently never hovered long enough. There wasn't anything obvious to tell me the arrow meant it was moved.

Not the end of the world. Now I know how it works and everyone else is probably smart enough to figure it out right away.
