My FWC dealer went bankrupt last week, and I pick it up tomorrow.

This is a shame. I, as did many others, had a very good experience at the American RV, Azusa store. No pressure with initial purchase, timely updates on delivery, and were super helpful when we had (a rarely heard of) warranty issue. I hope FWC is able to find another local So-Cal dealer.

FWC warranty work is theoretically good. There is no question that the factory stands behind their product. Practically it's a different matter. Depending on the dealer you can have a hard time getting work done by a dealer other than the one you bought it from. Some of the dealers will treat you as if you were their customer. Others will treat you like you bought a different brand. So in your case expect to make a long trip to the FWC factory should you need work done. Service network (or the lack thereof) is very much a weak link of FWC. There does appear to be much coordination or agreement between FWC and the individual dealers for warranty work.

?....... Same goes for adding rack tracks to the roof after purchase, which I now want. I will stop by the factory and have them do the work...some day.
Interesting Bill, that is the one item that I wish I had installed on mine and like you I will have the factory (in my case near Denver) do the install.

Not to fear my friends, the new So Cal dealership is about to open its doors. They should be open and ready in the next week or so. Orders can be taken now if you're ready.

Oregon will be following suit soon.

The new dealership is called 10/40 Overland

If you're ready to order, PM me and I can lead you in the right direction to get ahead of the 14 week lead time

This is good. Where are they located?

10/40 Overland is at the PDX Sportsman Show this week with a Fleet and Grandby. Was good to see them there.

I heard this week from a Woodland staffer to not hold my breath until an Oregon shop re-opens. Any suggestions for where to take an FWC with a water system issue (cracked pipe, I think) in the Puget Sound area?

Das Mule in Issaquah is now an FWC dealer. Great people and a great shop that actually understand suspension work.

They are on the hunt for the Oregon location and have several solid leads. There are still people there ready to open its just a location issue. I would imagine you'd be able to take a current unit to an RV shop for repairs now
