Hey gang. have a Hawk shell with rollover bed on port side, window on starboard. I want a small sink just enough to wash hands, brush teeth, rinse a coffee mug, nothing like dishes. Havent seen much DIY that looks good unless really professional, particularly with my setup with such limited wallspace. Do not want to cut holes. 1 or 2 gallons would be plenty so need cistern and collection. Found this in UK but can find no US equivalent. Any ideas?

This company makes portable sinks, some even have 12V water heaters. Only available in Europe from what I can see. :(

In all honesty that UK model will get pretty grotty pretty fast... then you have to bleach it. We have a water tank but don't really need it if one is carrying suitcase water. Have also found the sink is not needed either as it needs to be cleaned and the gray water drains out a hose into a bucket..... better to just buy a small tupperware pail and use suitcase water... I am removing my sink and replacing the counter top so as to move the stove where the sink is. Will keep the water pump on the countertop to fill the coffee pot...sauce pan and clean the teeth!... simplicity returns after finding the pre set up just not as road worthy.

In the Bobcat, I keep a couple 4 gallon Armour-dillo water containers and two small tubs. One tub for washing dishes, one for washing me. I also keep 4 one liter bottles for hiking and ready access drinking water.

First
the least expensive complete sink and misc parts including a template and brackets to hold sink into the counter can be purchased from Four Wheel Camper roy@fourwh.com . In 2012 I purchased it for $88 including tax.
Click on the link and scroll down to see pictures and install procedures. I use a 3 gallon plastic water dispenser, and a sliding petcock (camping world - about $3) to control the flow. See pictures:

This may not be practical for many of us but it's an interesting idea. If nothing else it helps us think through what's important to us in a sink....

It's a FloTool 16-quart oil-drain container. I saw one today at my local Tractor Supply so had an opportunity to size it up. They also had the 24-quart model.

Thanks for advice guys. I called them and talked them into shipping from UK but it cost me. I like the clean compactness though its only good for really light jobs. Really easy to dump out but yes will require periodic cleaning. video to come.
