Hi all
Longtime ER nurse, avid hiker I’ve been lurking here for a bit, finally went ahead and created account. Recently purchased a 1958 Alaskan 10’ NCO The lower section is very solid, but the upper section by the windows on each side has some rot Ceiling looks good with only some minimal staining above the rear door. After I added some jack oil top went up with minimal issues! Yay!! Only one of the rods is leaking, so orings will be my first project However one of the slides (drivers side rear) is bent at the top and come free of the inner slide. Suggestions of how to fix this?
Will try to add a pic shortly...

Here’s a pic of slider

So I disconnected the top of camper from bottom, jacked up top until I could remove the bent slide, straightened It, put new orings in the lift cylinders, and it works just fine now!. However it appears when the Pirelli seals went bad the previous owner replaced them with strips of carpet! So that is my next project.
Cheers, Paul
