Mono Lake, looking at the Lee Vining tufa grove. I can't paddle in there until September because of the buffer zone around the Osprey nests. The birds were screaming at me even from this far away!

Looking south towards the Mono Craters and the Mammoth Mountain area. It was about 7:30 am and I was finishing my mug of tea. I need a cup holder.

Looks like big fun! We love kayaking. Can hardly wait to get out and get the boats wet. We will try Coldwater Lake near Mt. St. Helens on Thursday.
