Now that FWC has sent me a new water pump and I'll be doing some work in the camper I think it's time to replace the stock faucet. Looking at a single handle with a pullout sprayer. I guess they are 3 hole so I'll need to do some drilling.

I don't have much experience with faucets and was wondering if, since I have no hot water, I have to plug the hot water intake on the faucet to prevent back flow from the cold?

Not much info on WTW about installing new faucets for some reason. Seems like a very useful mod. Anyone got pics?

Cheers

I put in a single lever (non-pullout) that mounted through a single hole. I used the second hole for a soap dispenser.

You will need to cap the hot water line or hook up both lines to the cold water. If you hook up both lines the faucet will work in any lever position.

BSS referred my to this Shurflo http://salicos.com/SHURflo.htm I hooked it to a 3.2 gpm shurflo pump and it works great. Doesn't pull out but rotates/swivels.

Thanks. Hooking both inlets to the cold sounds like the way to go. Just run a T and some flex hose should be good to go, in theory...

I put in a water pump and new faucet replacing the old hand pump in my old Northstar. I only hooked it to the cold side. I hooked up the hot side to be able to hook to city water. Never used the city side tho!!
