We’ve waited out the storm and plan to head out tomorrow to the Lassen-Modoc-Warner area in NE California. We may be a bit limited as to where we can (comfortably) go due to snow elevation at roughly 6000’. Does anyone have suggestions for nice primitive dispersed camping spots (around 5000’) for the Lassen NF, Modoc Plateau, and Warner Mountains? Any suggestions (and map points) would be most welcome! :D

Thanks!

For Lassen NF, there are some nice spots along the Susan River on Silver Lake Road, but that is closer to 6000'. Access is from County Road A21 that runs north from Westwood on Highway 36.
