Another excellent TR ski3pin - thanks for posting it. When my wife and I lived on the West Shore and then Reno, we spent a lot of time skiing and backpacking around the Carson Pass area. Just love that area and your TR did a great job depicting it.

Can you transfer this backyard down to the San Diego area? What few pine trees we have left are burning as usual.

Ah, wondered where you went after you spotted me. Wish I'd gone with you. I've done most of the drivable portion of the Carson route. How many miles did you wind up walking?
