Painting the underside of the cab over

Any thoughts on the need to paint the underside of the cabover? Mine is looking dark in spots like its absorbing water.

Yes i guess it could be - I've got a week camping down in florida and then i'm pulling it off to do some maintenance.
At that point i think i'll go ahead and paint it anyway.

you could use a compatible marine paint to help deter a mildew or water issue.
