Propane Tank Base 10lb

I wondered if someone would be so kind, time permitting, to measure the diameter of the base of a 10lb (aka 2.4 or 2.5 gal.) propane tank. This is the very bottom of the tank that sits on a mounting platform.

I have the 20lb tanks (standard RV or BBQ size) and they are 8" at the base but I need to build a mounting base for a smaller tank.

No hurry just if anyone happens to be filling their tanks and wouldn't mind checking.

My 10 lb base circle plate is 7 3/8”.
