I picked up a 76 8 ft, CO the other day and when I got it in the driveway to raise the top I forgot how touchy they are if the truck is not level fore and aft and side to side. So after a couple tries with it sticking, I first went to clean the slides with rubbing alcohol and lubed them with a Teflon spray from the bicycle shop...they did not carry "Finish Line"....

Today I get the same sticking uneven lift with the front lower when trying to let it down. So I raised it all the way up to sort out the problem. OK, the pic shows the two radiator hose clamps on the LF tube an there is an ounce or so fluid running down and puddling on the floor. Looks like a replacement tube is needed and is the cause of in-even raising and lowering of the top.

Right now rain, cold and a sore back preclude much more than a little Spring cleaning, sorting out electrical things and then I can get to the big stuff.
1) installing the new Pirelli seal
2) sorting out the electrical system and re-mounting the two bullet lights
3) sanitizing the water tank (hope it is working)
4) sorting out the fresh H2O inlet and waste exit
5) replacing the ice box drain hose and water tank drain hose
6) new upholstery/foam
7) sew up some new cutesy rear door curtains
8) mount the four Titan jack mounts on the camper
