A 1989 Ranger II restoration project was posted on the Expedition Portal that might interest WTW readers.

About two years ago I sold John C. a very tired old Ranger that was nothing more than a frame with all the dismanteld parts piled inside. Even the aluminum frame needed work (rear corners removed and re-welded) before it was useable. I had already restored two FWC campers and wasn't ready to take on another project.

It's tempting to upload the before and after shots here, but they're already posted on the Expedition Portal.

John - excellent work on the 4WheelResto project.

I was unsure where to post my Ranger II build, EP or WTW. At the recommendation of a friend I posted at EP. I have felt guilty since as at least half the information and inspiration for my build came from this site. In order to keep it simple I will keep the thread going on EP. But here is a few pictures. Thanks, John

When you say nice clean fixer upper you mean it. WOW!!! Nice job, and your truck is awesome, Looks like mine but yours is cleaner looking.

I have a name for your camper. Lazarus, it was dead and now it is back from the dead. That is awesome. My wife thought I was loosing it grinning at camper pictures.

What is the large gray box on the drivers side? Do you have plans for sink, stove, batteries, solar, etc.? What kind of storage do you have on the sides? Are you going to build seats? I think what you have done is short of amazing. Great job. I'm really interested on what you have planned for the interior. Thanks for post on WTW. JD
