It started with Houston, we have a problem... The snake liked the warm engine compartment better than the wet cold ground...
Once the snake was out of the engine compartment, things progressed as planned. The dogs were introduced to two snakes in cages, then given a shock when they showed curiosity about the snakes. Following that, the dogs were introduced to this free snake that rattled and coiled. Neither Fritz nor Ketzel needed any other persuasion to stay away, they wanted nothing to do with the critter.
Both dogs were vaccinated against snakebite, with a booster to be given in 3-4 weeks.
