Rear camper storage

Looks like all seperate units

I've seen Jerry Can holders, highlift jack holders and compressed air holders at several specialty 4x4 stores. I'm sure www.4wheelparts.com has all that stuff.

I was thinking of mounting a jerry can holder and/or extra spare tire in the same location as that one, but it would prevent the door from fully opening.

Misc Holders

EdoHart,

Years ago, I worked on a lot of fire equipment. You wouldn't believe the stuff those fireman used to want mounted on their rigs. If you ever exhaust your search online, try running down to your nearest firehouse and ask the guys where they buy their bracketry. Otherwise try doing a websearch. You might find some interesting ways of mounting odd ball stuff. Good luck!

Rick has a good point. I'm a firefighter and we do mount lots of crap on vertical surfaces. The hardware isn't usually light, but most of it is bomb proof. A google search for fire equipment mounting brackets might turn something up.

mounting stuff to back wall

Erod,

We built that camper for Gary and the back wall was reinforced to the hilt to hold everything. I would not recommend putting the same on the back wall of a regular camper.

There are a few options out there for a bumper mounted system to hold things that we recommend.

Here are a couple of web sites for the bumper mounted and hitch mounted options.

A couple of these came from an earlier thread on the subject.

Hope some of it helps.

I like it.

Thanks for the link. That is on my list of possible purchases. I wonder how well it does in severe off road situations. Even though I go "low and slow" through the rough stuff, I'm afraid to put so much dynamic moment on a single point of attachment like a receiver hitch. It may be possible to add additional braces at each end and the top of the tire rack to keep it secure. Still, good to know about the product.

i agree, cool products, thanks for the links guys! cheers!
