Since my ez fold stool is the first thing out and last thing in, I thought it would be a good idea to strap the stool to the rear door of the camper to increase accessibility to the stool and valuable floor space. I thought about bolting in some d rings with with straps and bunggies then I saw this system:

I think its pricey but it may lead to other ideas. The great thing about these bags (http://www.springtailsolutions.com/subpage28.html) is that you can store other stuff that you need quick access to like first aid kits, road flares while you can strap in the ez fold stool on the outside. If you have the rack system you can also utilize the quick fists to hold other items (http://www.springtailsolutions.com/gpage5.html). Again the only draw back is the price of the billet racks but I suppose you can make your own attachment rack/points.

Is the stool the inside or outside? If on the inside do you not have a screen door?

Our step ladder came with the Hawk when we bought it. The previous owner stored it on the floor in the camper, but I didn't want it thrashing around in there while 'wheeling.

I figured a way to mount the ladder on the factory installed steps, but it's probably a one of a kind mount. It gets a bit dirty out there, but I like having a solid step ladder available. It's what I need to put kayaks up top, plus is a nice safe set of steps for the camper. (no pics :( , but if someone wants them, I'll take one)
