roof lift assist on an eagle

tomorrow i plan on installing a roof lift assist in my eagle. i got the kit from fwc. it's gonna be tight between the brackets and the bed slide. it looks like i have to sand the bed slide down a bit. the roof bracket looks to be easy. anyone else do this install?

thanks- great thread. i got it done yesterday. it took about an hour. i am going to have to trim the bed slide a bit( just knock the corner down.) what a difference. ----------jw

I installed my lift assist 2 months ago on my Hawk. I absolutely love it. I have a 2005 Hawk and love it but it's been difficult for me when it comes to lifting the camper up. I would recommend it anyone. Terri
