Knowing that would spend 2 months in Baja camping by the beach, I picked up a can of Corrosion Free, supposedly the best rust proofing product available in Canada, and applied it on some exposed metal areas at the back of the camper and truck for protection from the salty brine we woke up with every morning.
If you look at the pics, the original protective coating on the metal brackets etc.almost totally destroyed and not by the salt but by the rust proofing spray. The hard gear that was on the roof and couldn't get to it, or did not get any spray on, are all intact nice a shiny.
