well it's been a super long time since i posted up progress on my FWC rebuild. For good reason though, I am switching careers so it's school full time and work full time which leave exactly zero time for the camper. Spring break is here though so i have some time...
It seems many of us are on a quest to find the perfect bed configuration. I have drawn up several of my own and followed everyones on here as well which leads me to my question.
Has anyone thought about or tried heavy duty drawer slides? I've looked at some that can hold up to 500 lbs. each. I was thinking of replacing the box that the bed rests on with three supports and attaching the slides to those and the couch seat/bed to the sliders. When it is slid out the backrest lays flat in the slot closest the window.
