Riley's Human
This valley has always intrigued me as I drive up and down Monitor Pass. Finally do some research and see its a State Wildlife area. But, I can't find any dates on anything. I found an interesting piece when it was under consideration as a Wilderness area but no dates. Apparently still had vehicle access at that point. When the state made it a Wildlife area I can't find. There are some interesting rectangular patches of land and at least it looks I found an explanation for those.

I almost drove the road heading West from Coleville, not sure why I didn't. My map shows a gate at the turn into the valley but I don't see it on Google Earth. You can see the gate on the 89 side.
