So you thought the Chevy ZR2 was awesome...

I wonder what the payload capacity is with all that extra overlanding gear? And if these fancy shocks/suspension are setup for a heavy load or empty? Plus, if overlanding, shouldn't it come with a long box to maximize the size of camper/gear you can put in the back?

As it is, it looks like mostly eye-candy to me.
 
Seems like it is targeting both the offroad and overlanding crowds, but is not best-in-class for either.

Even with a short bed the wheelbase will prevent it from going where a Jeep can. The wheelbase on my 2008 Tacoma crew cab prevented me from getting to the end of the road in Death Valley on Trail and Hanupah canyons. I can air up and down, but cannot shrink and grow.
 
Obviously there is no one truck that can do everything but this set up is about as good as you can get from a dealer.
If you were inclined to use a RTT I can't think of a better rig, particularly in a diesel format...
