We all had a wonderful time There were 23 rigs, almost double the 2012 attendance. There were two out of state rigs, one couple from Mesa AZsecound from Santa Fe New Mexico. As your volunteer Host I am behind in my paperwork so will get out the emails as soon as possible to the attendes.

Thank you so much for planning and bringing this all together. It was a great maiden voyage for us. We enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to see the other FWCs there.

Here are my photos:

I was too busy having fun to take pictures.

Trying to locate the FWC camper that told me about city truck auctions. I believe he was the owner of the "bannana blocks" wheel/truck levelers. from the 2013 San Onofre Rally

I got so much inspiration at the rally that I created a bucket list of mods to make. Here are some photos.

I actually got this idea from WTW but did talk to Bill and others about the lame fresh water drain valve that fails. I ordered this clever replacement that uses a standard radiator petcock. Got it from http://www.ebay.com/itm/171070722860?item=171070722860&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OU:US:3160&vxp=mtr

Here's what happened to my existing valve, the handle cracked:

I replaced with this:

After talking with Mesa Mike I decided to order one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PI9E4K/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 a remote control module that comes with two remotes so you can turn on your rear floods remotely. Didn't take photos but it works great. I was disappointed by the poor quality of the FWC cabinet though. I had to take one panel off where the flood switch is located. When I removed my protective edge guard I put on, it peeled away the very thin fake wood grain. Lesson learned, don't put anything sticky on the cabs if your want to ever remove it.

Thanks to Tom's Advice I ordered the fan guts so I can upgrade my vent to a fan. Just got it today so got something to do tomorrow:

The other Idea I came up with is to get some stuff sacks for our pillows. Was using garbage bags but they didn't last long. Got two of these 60L sacks at Rei. I loop the drawstring around my speaker lift so they stay on the seat:

I think I already posted my new solar panel photos so I won't repeat.

Just back from camping after the rally. Great to see other campers and mods - will spend the winter months making tweaks and improvements to our older Four Wheel. Thanks to all who participated and shared their knowledge and rigs. Special thanks to Jim for organizing and allowing us "out-of-staters" to participate. Our post-rally trip which included a tour of the FWC factory in Woodland and visits to the coastal redwoods and the eastern Sierra's.

I ordered another thing I saw at the Rally and that was the Coleman fold and go very small BBQ. Got it at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Fold-InstaStart-Portable-Grill/dp/B001RU04XK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1383955599&sr=8-4&keywords=fold+and+go+bbq I have the Weber Q but it is so big, it's a pain to bring every trip. The coleman fits under my seat. I just listed the Weber on CL.

I think Jim is the one that had the Coleman so thanks Jim for sharing that idea. My last thing to get is a good foam replacement. I went to a foam supplier but it is a real daunting task to pick

All Attendees,

This morning I completed the attendees list and emailed requesting the group give permission to share the list with each other. If you did NOT receive an email and you attended - send me a PM and I will update my file and include you in future mailings.
