Solar Polarity

Does anyone know the polarity of the exposed pin in the roof sae 2 pin solar connector?

Brenda at FWC didn't know the answer.

A 9v battery, hooked to a male plug and a VOM meter will let you know. Always good to check before making a connection to your charge controller. I hooked red to red on my plugs and +/- was reversed in the camper. Did not feel like pulling the panel on the roof off so I marked the wires and then hooked everything up.

This is how we normally hook the solar panel up.

Cool, that's they way my 60w Powerfilm panel is wired and I'm getting the extra solar plug on my Eagle (as well as the 100w panel on the roof). Plug and play.
