Squeeky door

Any suggestions to lube or adjust plastic hinges on 2014 Grandby door? Hours of lubing , atempting to adjust equals no help. Real loud.

Carl, be careful. Some time ago, there was a trip report about a shakedown expedition on a new camper. The person got up in the middle of the night to go irrigate the local plants. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell out of the camper. The door made a loud squeak, alerting other campers to a possible problem. They turned on a powerful light and revealed a stark 'nekkid' and thoroughly flustered distinguished member of WTW. By the way, naked means you're without clothing. Nekkid however means not only do you not have clothing, but you're up to something. In this case, it was sneaking out to water the plants.

I've just used a small amount of spray on silicon.

The "Distinguished Member's" door squeaked upon opening and night owl neighbors, unreasonably scared by night time sounds in the outdoors, shined high powered flashlights upon the hero of this story, blinding him and causing an ungraceful fall. To fully flesh out the story, the neighbors were from Oregon.

This member has metal hinges that teflon lube has eliminated squeaks.

I prefer these for night time duties, especially when it is raining, windy, cold, or over-populated.One for the camper, one for the boat, and one for the truck. Mine are olive drab and not red but this one was found first.

Never mind the squeaky door. Neighbors may heat sensing flood lights or worse yet a Flir night vision camera.

A easy squirk of CORROSION BLOCK will cure the squeak for quite some time. Always keep a can in my truck for annoying squeaks.

I also spray all my motorcycle tools with CB prior to a camping trip. Keeps rust at bay.

Orange 1 L nalgene bottle...with a 'poison' symbol drawn on for effect. Keeps the missus from using it as a drink bottle!
