I have a short wife that has trouble getting into the overhead, so I made up a small set of stairs that will lay across the front seat area when traveling and solved the problem for around $15.00 in lumber.

Craig, I have this one I made and am not using.
Do you think you might want it?
You're close to me so no shipping required, just arrange a day/time and we can meet somewhere in my area.

Not sure if it will fit your camper, but, you could take it and try it

If you want wider in the steps, they are just dado'ed into the side rails and glued (no screws).
You could probably use a rubber mallet (or a regular hammer and another piece of wood) to knock it apart and make wider steps.

It is just a friction fit with the carpet on the floor and pushing up on the middle of the bed extension (I thought the bed extension might need extra support there - it doesn't really). If you want hooks on the top that would be an easy fix.

Well, it turns out that my ladder is too short for use by Craig.

So, if anyone is interested in it and be willing to pay for packaging and shipping, if you can't meet me in the Santa Barbara area, then send me a Private Message.

Here's the details...

My ATC Bobcat floor to bottom of the extended bed support measures 43 - 1/4". If I subtract the thickness of the indoor-outdoor carpet of 1/4", that would only be 43 - 1/2" from the hard surface floor.

Hi whiskeyandwine
I know this has been mentioned before, shortened it up a bit, light easy to move around, flat as opposed to round treads better. Works ok for us we place next to counter and coming down nice to have counter for balance.

Hope this helps.
