It has been one year since we picked up our camper at ATC. I thought I would post our experiences and changes to the camper since we got it. The short story is we are still very happy with it. The details are posted in our blog:

Last month while at John Day Fossil Beds we spoke with a couple about to purchase a camper. They were asking about access to the plug in the bed of Tacomas. Good to see that simple mod to make it easy to get at. I bet that gets copied a lot by Taco owners.

What was the material Kathy used to make the mesh bags? Did she just sew directly to them or use a binding materal as well?

Jay, the material was some scrap mosquito netting we had on hand. It is pretty strong. Kathy sewed the seams without any backing (used a kind of zigzag stitch to bind the edges- you sewers would know the right term) but we did use a backing for the velco to make the attachment a bit stronger.
