After consulting with my truck guru Silvertip47, I am planning on installing Timbren Suspension System on my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4.

Anybody see a better price out there than $195. with shipping included?

It looks like an easy install--a great deal easier than installing my TorkLifts--now installed--see photo.

That's about what I paid for mine via ebay.

Didn't see anything any lower while I was looking.

good luck in your search

I just paid $175 Canadian from a place near Vancouver BC for a Mazda B4000 - I imagine the price difference for larger springs for Dodge wouldn't be that much, so your price sounds about right.

This dealer orders direct from Timbren which BTW is also a Canadian company.

That was the lowest price I was quoted - some places wanted almost $300 + shipping.

I was advised to go with air bags, but my tires are wider than stock. Frame to tire clearance was at the minimum.
I considered overload springs, but having them before and requiring a kidney brace to go over speed bumps wasn't pleasant.

I like the idea of the Timbren:

Relatively cheap
Easy to install
Don't do anything until load is applied - stock ride height and feel is kept when unloaded
No leaks, no maintenance.

Hopefully, they work as well as they sound.

Thanks,

Tom

If anybody is looking for timbrens, I just found a set for my tundra on amazon for $165 with free super saver shipping.
