Trip planned Atlantic Provinces via Trans Labrador Hwy.

SeatoSea - Thanks for posting the review of your trip. It is timely, as we are planning a similar trip in a few months, except we will be doing it in reverse. This will be our third trip to the Maritimes, and while we will spend some time in New Brunswick, PEI, and Nova Scotia, the primary focus will be Newfoundland and Labrador. We where there in 2003 but barely scratched the surface. Thanks again . . . sounds like you had a great trip.

You'll have a great time. In NFL:
Theres a number of UNESCO sites with interesting history.
People are friendly, a lot go away during the summer for jobs located in other parts of the country.
NFL provincial parks were great, with full service bathrooms and laundry and if planned right are near great attractions. We found weekdays parks are empty, but on weekends they fill up. NP we're full all the time. We reserved a lot of stops in advance particularly if it was over a weekend. You can boondock almost anywhere, as there are plenty of dirt roads![emoji44]
Although commercial cod fishing has all but stopped you can go down to a local dock and barter for best price with fisherman. Just buy before the fish mongers buy up the catch.
We like the oysters on PEI the best, and lobster on opening day in each Provence was something we learned to look for. New Brunswick NP along the coast is also a nice stop over. Firillion NP at the tip of the gasp is worth the trip.
We plan to go back someday.
Have a good trip!
