So this past weekend my work sent me to Kah-Nee-Ta hot springs for an offsite meeting. I figured it would be perfect to take the camper and on the way back stop by Timothly lake to finish off the weekend.
So this time I was able to take my normal truck vs. my "wood getter truck"
With the camper on, the truck actually rides nice...

I made it to the hot springs just in time to see the sun go down, I have not been here in close to 40 years.. it is relaxing..

All in all a great second trip. the heater did get a workout at the lake as it was in the low 30's at night.. the heater is much quieter then the the old ones. Since I'm a light sleeper I do like that very much... Fuel economy seems to be mid 13's in the mountain driving. was hoping for 15mpg. Maybe I will get it on my next trip. the 4th of July weekend, We will be going to Wallowa Lake State park..
SO glad it is summer!
