Lake Umatilla somewhere? have always liked the Gorge, but don't often get to spend much time in it.

You're really close. One lake up, Lake Wallula, Warehouse Beach. There is a really nice black sand beach and sand bar halfway between Warehouse Beach and Sand Station Campground. Reminded us of Hawaii. My son came back from his beach walk and said he was "swimming with the carp"

Interesting looking sailboat. Looks like a fun spot.

Here's a better shot of the canoe. My son and I built it about 10 years ago right after I got kicked to the curb from my last job. Lol, no use brooding... Got a better job now, and a Hawaiian sailing canoe to boot.
