North Canol Rd, the road less traveled. The lady at Watson Lake said I was only the 5-6 person that had driven it and stopped in all summer

Did you get all the way to Mac pass on the Canol? How was the road in general? It has been closed some years because of washouts.

I stopped at the truck graveyard, I was at 1/2 tank left. There is a company doing mining explorations with a camp at the pass so the road is okay until there.

The stories I hear about the NWT side are not good.

Yukon511 has the road as difficult. I would not even call it hard. it is slow and narrow.The hills are steep and short.
It took me 3 hours to Dragon Lake, it took some semis 7 hours.
