I have an ATC Bobcat camper and the drain valve is very stiff,.I’m afraid it will break, so I would like to replace it. Does it just screw into the bottom of the water tank? Does it just have regular pipe threads?
I haven’t tried to remove it yet, since it does still work, but I would like to be pro active before it gives me trouble.

I just replaced the valve in my 2009 Bobcat with the one shown on the post craig333 posted.
I ordered it from Amazon.

My valve had to be relocated to the rear of the camper as the valve would have hit the bed rail of the Tundra.
My camper was originally built for the Ranger I had at the time.

Marty added an elbow and plastic tubing that runs out the rear.
Works it's a great place for the valve.

57Pan - for a 'don't fix what's not broken' approach, go to your local ACE Hardware (or similar) and pick up a small tin of silicone grease and work it into valve. I had the same thing going on and this has added a couple years of serviceable life already.

Our Ace hardware has the in-kind replacement in their very small RV parts section for about $4, so you could go that route or have it on hand for when your doing some caulking or when it finally breaks.
