Xmas tree on top of camper?

Am I ok strapping a Xmas tree to the top of my fleet camper? Not tight but just snug?

I would watch out for the tree limbs poking or dumpling the roof surface. Can add cardboard or blanket interface between. Just thinking....

We buy a permit every year and cut one down. The roof on my 81 is already pretty dimpled.

I’ve tied one to the roof of my camper almost every year for the past 12 years.

Just wrap it in a tarp to protect both tree and camper.
