RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West North Cascades Quickie

I see another dog that refuses to sleep in the dirt. Foam dog bed on top of the table. :D Glad to see I am not the only one with a humanized dog. Looks like a great "quickie"....thanks for sharing.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Looking for budget cross country transport of a Eagle Shell

I have the LineX liner with the rubber bed matt on top on mine. Works fine and I think it helps with any movement.....mine hasn't budged at all. Like you mentioned, the LineX isn't that sticky.

Randygirl this is a good forum for everything GM diesel: www.dieselplace.com Good find on that truck as it is one of the most desirable years (pre emissions) and that Ally trans is arguably the best out there. I have a 2012 Chevy 2500HD with the gas engine and a heavy Hawk (1,300 lbs dry and...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Anyone had HOA issues with camper ON the truck?

Welcome pretty soon to Colorado....what part? My experience with HOA is all over the scale. Some are run by nazis to the point of insanity.....like having to remove small hooks from the eves used for hanging xmas tree lights. Others have been mellow and reasonable, but where I am at now there...

Gene Rubin and I put these on the Dodge last spring and I couldn't be happier. Pam loves them too. Actually she's the one that wanted them and you know the drill. When mommas happy.......... Thanks for the review on those steps......the only downside seems to be the price.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Shaving weight --- Leave the jacks behind?

Remove the jacks when traveling and put them back on to remove the camper. It is no biggie. I have used the free standing jacks on a camper and gladly remove and reinstall the corner jacks rather than go back to free standing. You can have exciting moments with the free standing jacks if the...

Like there's a "Code"? WTW Code? Kinda like the Cowboy Code? OK.....so would this pass the WTW Code, i.e. approved vehicle modifications? :) Retractable power running board I want to be in compliance. I can pick up and throw the dog in but my wife frowns on such things. :(

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New truck, gravel = mud flaps?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I went ahead and ordered the mud flaps. I really have to get over this new truck thing though! So far I had the 3M clear bra stuff put on the front of the hood, LineX bed liner WITH a rubber bed matt to protect the liner, WeatherTech floor matts front and rear...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New truck, gravel = mud flaps?

I have been pounding down a lot of gravel roads with the new rig and I am starting to see the resulting rock chips. Years ago I had put mud flaps on my previous truck but as time passed they slowly disappeared one by one and by then I didn't really care. Old truck syndrome I guess.....but on...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Any FWC in Denver area we could look at

I'll second the suggestion to see Chris the local dealer. I bought a Hawk from him and it was a great experience. He had three models on the floor you could look at. He is a great resource and a wealth of information. You could look at mine but I'm leaving for WY and MT. :) Welcome

I bought a camper from Stan....I'm not all that sure he is kidding. If it is the first full week of August there is only one place to be....Sturgis. It will make you appreciate peace and quiet and flush toilets the rest of the year.

Great pictures. Leaving tomorrow for the same area. I noticed the truck/camper was used as a base camp? I am planning to travel most of the same trails with a crew cab 3/4 ton with a Hawk.
