We have Dogwood trees here in the East. Maybe not quite as big as those, but they've still got bark, and some bite.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Do You Carry Heavy Duty Chain?

Impressive! The one worker I thought would have been done for. Maybe he was offered protection by standing behind a bollard of sorts. One would think they had been doing this work for some time, and would know the best place to be. Anyway, is 15 inches per link a fair estimate? Maybe 50 lbs...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Go camping under stay at home order?

My passions were the same, but too many other people behind the wheels of their automobiles back east ruined the experience for me. Always stay safe, avoid humans.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Go camping under stay at home order?

Before the stay at home order came in I would do my jogging/cycling on the shoulder of our parks perimeter roadway. This allowed me to avoid others by a wide margin, as they routinely stayed on the pedestrian path deeper inside of the road. Then the other parks in the area closed, which only...

I got something from all, but I definitely appreciated watching that Sizwell <sp> cut go down. I gotta say, each successful drop put a smile on my face. Too bad most all of our trees are long gone here... Great stuff. Good post. thanks

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Other camper/cap mfg?

I'm wondering if a furnace is workable in these caps? I have the impression that since they are not as insulated very well the furnace would operate much longer than normal.

Yes Casa..., that does seem to fit my wishful minimalist list. FYI, I only see 2 of the 4, maybe they are only duplicates?

Thanks, that's kind of Interesting, though I kinda wanted a shell with a furnace. I'd check them out, but the two nearest dealers don't have them in yet.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Other camper/cap mfg?

Hello Frank, If I get to see one up close I might finally commit. Right now the main thing that holds me back is that I would get a great deal more use of the camper in the popped down position. If they would make it with an interior height of 60" in the closed condition I would be very much...

Thanks. It appears that there is a dealer who does custom installations (drills holes in the roof) about an hour and a half away.

I like the cargo box on the roof of the cab. It acts as a wind block as well as adding some weight forward. I would like to find something similar for my regular cab. I just don't know how it would be held down being mine has no rain gutters? I've seen a few older name brand campers...

Hello there. I received a prompt reply after posting this one. "We are not too sure who is the manufacture for that. This is a photo for just marketing." I'll assume it's not a popular model if it doesn't get identified at this site.

I've never done this, and I'm not even sure I've even seen a propane purge setup. At this point I would be considering doing it myself if I were in a similar situation. https://www.hunker.com/12001490/how-to-purge-a-propane-tank https://goneoutdoors.com/purge-new-propane-tank-4829238.html a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Question: Bottom section strength

My special request would be to have the camper sides tall enough to create a 57" interior height when closed. I assume the furnace can run in that configuration without a problem? Yes Barn doors could be handy, but I think better than that would be flip-up door combo similar to the attached...
